  Kelly Caudle is amazing. She was extremely thorough explaining why my skin was in its current condition, and what steps I would need to take to get to a better spot. I have been to dermatologists who walk in, write a prescription, and don't ask any questions or offer advice. Kelly acted as a consultant and my skin is looking great as a result. Visit her!!

  I visited a couple years back when I was just a high schooler with bad acne. My first visit here was pretty good. I felt welcome and was treated professionally. I had a bad case of acne on my back and small cysts on my jawline. I was prescribed Accutane my first visit there and she told me that she is going to "start me off on a high dose". I was told to take this pill twice a day and that it had many risks and side effects. Over the course of 4 weeks I was taking accutane twice a day as prescribed but to my dismay my acne got even worse. My chest was breaking out, my back not getting better and my face was in constant pain because of my breakouts and cysts. My second visit there was extremely upsetting. Prior to that I went with my mom to her appointment with Dr. Kelly for something totally irrelevant to my case because it was my mom's appointment. While my mom was being examined I wanted to ask her a question about my acne because my next appointment was not until next week. But to my dismay she gave my a finger over her mouth and said that because it wasn't my appointment that she wouldn't answer me. Really? I was YOUR patient. My face, chest, and back was in extreme pain from all of the breakouts and I was going through high school with depression and anxiety. It was very upsetting to me but I opted to just wait until it was my time. Come to my next appointment date and she didn't seem to remember me at all. I felt like I was being treated unfairly. Dr. Kelly saw how bad my acne was and asked me "So why did put you on such a low dose last time?". No ma'am, you told that I was being started off on a high dose the first time I visited. And that was it, just prescribed a higher dose of accutane and I was on my way. After my 3rd refill of accutane I never went back. I come to find out that I was supposed to take Accutane 12 HOURS APART. That it completely different from twice a day. I ended up taking the second pill like 5-8 hours after the first and that caused me to break out severely. This could be my fault but details like this should be emphasized to the patient. In the end, I had an overall horrible experience at this place. My face did clear up in the end but my chest was left severely scarred. To the point I'm too afraid to expose any part of it, and that sucks. She did a good job putting those steroid shots in my face to get rid of the scar tissue though, I'll give her that.
